Referral & Fees

Please contact me to discuss any questions and to organise an appointment.

 Fees

Everyone is in a different financial situation; some can pay the standard fee whilst others cannot. I like to make good therapy available to anyone who needs it so I have an adjustable-fee schedule to suit almost anyone. Jason is also a provider for Open Arms and DVA and registered with Work Cover.

Standard Fee:

Funding Duration Fee Paid for you Out of pocket

Standard Medicare 50 min $200.00 $92.90 $107.10

Private Billing 50 min $220.00 - $220.00

If you are on Centrelink benefits, are a self-supporting student or are in financial hardship, please advise us.

Online (Skype / Zoom)

Telehealth and Online zoom sessions are available wherever you live, including rural and remote areas, in Australia.

Types of Funding

A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), will allow you to access up to 10 sessions under Medicare's Better Access Scheme. Under a MHCP, $92.90 per session of your fees are covered by Medicare. To do this:

1.    Book an appointment to see your GP (a longer appointment if possible).

2.    Ask for a Mental Health Care Plan. Provide my details. Your GP will ask you some questions, give you a couple of questionnaires, and give you:

a)    a referral letter,

b)    a copy of your MHCP.

3.    Book an appointment to see me by calling 0426 780 913

4.    Bring to your appointment your referral, and your recent MHCP.

Most private health insurers also offer rebates on psychological services under extras or ancillary cover.

Please let me know if I am not registered with your insurer and I will fill out the necessary forms to make this happen.

Workcover

I am registered to provide treatment for psychological conditions brought about by an incident or conditions in the workplace. Examples may include distress following a violent incident, bullying, or unreasonable actions or conditions in the workplace.  Discuss this with your GP, if you think this may apply to you.

Private Billing

If you do not wish to or are not eligible to access services via a Mental Health Treatment Plan ( MHCP), you may need to pay your own fees.
